Del Mar College Shooting Hoax

At approximately 10:23 am on April 13, 2023 a report of an active shooter was called in for the campus of Del Mar located at 101 Baldwin.

The entire campus was cleared by police personnel. Corpus Christi Police Department confirm that there is no threat to the school and there are no injuries. It was also confirmed that the call was a hoax and the source of the call is currently being investigated.

Officers have found no evidence to suggest there was an active threat or that a shooting occurred at the location.

CORPUS CHRISTI (News Release) - This morning, Del Mar College sent an emergency message to students about an active shooter on the main campus. The source of the call is under investigation according to Corpus Christi Police Department. 

This is the second time in a month that a hoax call has been made at the Del Mar College campus.
