$90K of Cocaine Found Durning Traffic Stop

ROBSTOWN, TEXAS (News Release) - On Monday, February 19, 2024, a Robstown Patrol Officer stopped a vehicle traveling northbound on U.S. Hwy 77 for speeding.

Driver denied consent to search vehicle so a Narcotic K9 was requested. Nueces County Precinct Five Constable K9 handler assisted and his K9 gave a positive alert on the vehicle. A search of the vehicle was conducted and 2.2 kilograms of Cocaine were located.

The cocaine has an approximate street value of $90,000. The driver was arrested. Excellent work by officers and agencies involved.
