Nueces County District Attorney's Criminal Interdiction Unit

CORPUS CHRISTI (News Release) - On Tuesday, August 29, 2023, investigators with the Nueces County District Attorney's Criminal Interdiction Unit were notified, by members of the Victoria County Sheriff's Task Force, of a vehicle containing 3 subjects that were possibly headed to the Corpus Christi area and involved in criminal activity.

Investigators were able to locate the vehicle and developed reasonable suspicion to believe they were involved in retail theft from multiple businesses in the Sinton and Corpus Christi area. A short time later their suspicions were confirmed.

If any of these subjects entered your place of business and paid using a $100 bill, please check the serial number and if it matches the one listed below contact your local police department.

With the assistance of Corpus Christi Police Department Directed Patrol Officers, NCDA-CIU officers conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Staples and Williams Street in the City of Corpus Christi. All three subjects were placed into custody and evidence linking them to multiple thefts was recovered.

For agencies that believe they have cases involving these three and need more information please contact the Robstown Police department and ask to speak with an investigator with the Nueces County District Attorney's Criminal Interdiction Unit.

It is believed that these 3 have committed these same types of thefts throughout the country as evidence linked to crimes in other states was recovered.

The NCDA-CIU is comprised of the following agencies:

Nueces County District Attorney's Office

Robstown Police Department

Nueces County Constable's Office Pct 3

Nueces County Precinct Five Constable

Bishop Police Department
