Enjoy an evening filled with wind and guitar music during a performance by both the Del Mar College Wind Ensemble and the Classical Guitar Ensemble beginning at 7 p.m. in Richardson Performance Hall on the Heritage Campus.
Conducted by Professor of Music Dr. Abel Ramirez, the DMC Wind Ensemble will perform pieces by great band and orchestra composers, including masterful works such as Polovetsian Dances by Alexander Borodin, along with other selections by Ticheli and Delle Cese. The evening will begin with a performance by the Del Mar Classical Guitar Ensemble under the direction of Music faculty member Dr. Jay Kacherski and featuring works from Spain, the United States, Japan and the Star Wars soundtrack! Performances by each ensemble promises a musical evening you’ll remember!
