Some of the finest art is created in Corpus Christi, including the work of Del Mar College’s current nine faculty with the Art Program. This fall’s exhibition, the Del Mar Art Faculty Art Show, features prints, drawings, photos, ceramics, sculptures and paintings and opens with a reception on Friday, Sept. 18, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Fine Arts Center Cain Gallery on the Heritage Campus.
Experience the dynamic work of Loring Baker, Kalleen Chilcote, Kerstin Dale, Nate Ditzler, David Fuentes, Amorette Garza-Morales, Diana Peña, Elena “Rodz” Rodriguez and Mike Stephens, all while enjoying free hors d’ oeuvres and a cash bar. The exhibition includes nearly 50 pieces overall and runs through Wednesday, Nov. 18. Several pieces of the artwork will be available for purchase during the reception and throughout the show.
