San Patricio County Office of Emergency Management has opened Daytime Warming Center.

City of Taft Daytime Warming Center - Kiva Hut Warming Center located at 402 Park St, Taft

Open: Sunday, January 25 and Monday, January 26

7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Community partners, including Hometown Soap n Sudz and Taft Mayor Elida Castillo, will be on hand to help provide blankets and support to those in need.

REAL Transportation will be offering free rides to anyone who doesn’t have a way to get to a shelter. Anyone needing a ride should call 361-668-3158 and select option 2 for transportation.
