The City of Corpus Christi will open five Daytime Warming Centers on Sunday, January 25, 2026: • La Retama Central Library - 805 Comanche Street, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. • Owen R. Hopkins Library - 3202 McKinzie Road, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. • Ethel Eyerly Senior Center - 654 Graham Road, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. • Ben F. McDonald Library - 4044 Greenwood Drive, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. • Janet F. Harte - 2629 Waldron Road, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Residents are reminded that all City Public Libraries and Senior Centers are available during regular operating hours for those seeking a warm place.
The City will also open two Overnight Refuge Centers, Saturday through Tuesday: • Ben Garza Gym at 1815 Howard Street • Del Mar College Windward Campus FEMA Dome, 4101 Old Brownsville Road - Entrance #1
