The hospitality industry is one of the key job sectors in Corpus Christi and the Coastal Bend, and employers are looking for individuals to fill all types of positions in the hospitality management and culinary arts fields.
On Wednesday, April 9, Del Mar College’s Career Development Office will host a Hospitality Management and Culinary Arts Career Fair from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Tres Grace Community Room on the second floor of the Culinary Arts Building on the Oso Creek Campus. Participants can meet with area employers to speak about both full- and part-time opportunities, internships and more, and the career fair is open to individuals with different educational majors or employment experience.
Among employers who will be present (but not limited to) are the Corpus Christi Museum of Science and History, Incarnate Word Convent, Lively Beach Resort, MyFunPortA, Nueces Brewing Company, Texas State Aquarium, Visit Corpus Christi and WaterStreet LTD, along with many others. If you’re ready to enter the tourism, hospitality or culinary world, start preparing to meet with area employers by updating your resume and printing several copies to share, honing your interview skills and selecting appropriate attire that demonstrates you’re “dressed for success!”
This event is open to current and former DMC students and community members.
