Emergency and essential City services such as Police, Fire, and the Airport will remain open and maintain normal operations.

City 311 Call Center: Closed on Monday, January 19, 2026.

Public Health District: Closed on Monday, January 19, 2026.

Utilities Billing Office: Closed on Monday, January 19, 2026; however, customers can make utility bill payments:

Solid Waste Operations:

Garbage, recycling, and brush will not be collected on Monday, January 19, 2026.

• Monday’s garbage and recycling will be collected on Saturday, January 17, 2026 (the Saturday before).

• J.C. Elliott Collection Center & Transfer Station: Closed, Monday, January 19, 2026.

• Cefe Valenzuela Landfill: Open Monday, January 19, 2026, from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. 

Animal Care Services: Closed to the public on Monday, January 19, 2026. Animal Care Officers will be responding to calls for service. Residents can contact CCPD Non-Emergency Police at (361) 826-2600.

Code Enforcement: Closed on Monday, January 19, 2026.

Development Services: Closed on Monday, January 19, 2026.

Libraries: All public libraries will be Closed on Monday, January 19, 2026.

Parks and Recreation:

Golf Courses

·        Lozano Golf Center: Open 7:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m.

·        Oso Beach Golf Course: Open 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. 

Tennis Centers

·        H-E-B Tennis Center: Open 9:00 a.m. – 10:0 p.m.

·        Al Kruse Tennis Center: Open 9:00 a.m. – 10:0 p.m.           

Public Pools

·        Collier Pool: Open – Lap Swim 6:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Open Swim 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

·        Corpus Christi Natatorium: Open - Lap Swim 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p m.

Oso Bay Wetlands Preserve & Learning Center:

Walking trails and the playground are Open daily from dawn to dusk.

Learning Center: Closed on Monday, January 19, 2026.

Corpus Christi Gym and Ben Garza Gym: Closed on Monday, January 19, 2026. 

After-Hour Kid Power Program Office: Closed on Monday, January 19, 2026.
