Water and Wastewater Rate Adjustments

City of Corpus Christi

CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS (News Release) – The City of Corpus Christi will implement rate adjustments for water and wastewater services beginning January 1, 2026.

The average residential water rate will increase by $4.78 per month, while wastewater rates will increase by $4.20 per month. These rate adjustments are necessary to continue water and wastewater infrastructure upgrades and to cover additional water supply costs, providing more water through the Mary Rhodes Pipeline.

For complete rate information, visit Utility Rates and Fees | City of Corpus Christi.

The City of Corpus Christi recognizes these rate adjustments may impact household budgets. Utility assistance is available to qualifying residents through the Project One Water program.
