Vehicle Fire Slows Traffic North of Sinton

SINTON, TEXAS (News Release) - Traffic was slowed Sunday afternoon following a vehicle fire on U.S. 77 north of Sinton, according to the San Patricio County Sheriff’s Office.

San Patricio County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to the area about five miles north of Sinton at approximately 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 16, 2026, after receiving reports of a pickup truck pulling a trailer that had become fully engulfed in flames.

The fire caused traffic delays in the area as emergency crews responded to the scene.

The Sheriff’s Office said no injuries were reported.

Motorists traveling through the area were urged to use caution and expect delays while emergency personnel worked at the scene.
