Vehicle Burglars Arrested After Alert Resident Calls Police

ROCKPORT, TEXAS (News Release) - In the early morning hours of February 2, 2026, a Rockport resident in the 1300 block of S. Magnolia Street received an alert from his security cameras showing two suspicious males in his driveway, possibly attempting to enter his vehicle. The resident immediately contacted our communications office.

Thanks to a swift response by night shift officers, two male subjects matching the caller’s description were located and detained a short distance from the residence. The subjects were later identified as Jackson Bowers Allen, 24, of Rockport, and Zaden S. Isaacs, 20, of Rockport.

Officers confirmed both individuals were the same subjects captured on the security footage and that they did attempt to enter the complainant’s vehicle. Allen and Isaacs were arrested and transported to the Aransas County Detention Center. Both subjects are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

The Rockport Police Department encourages residents in and around the 1300 block of S. Magnolia Street to check their vehicles for signs of tampering or theft. Residents are also asked to review security footage from the evening of February 1 through the early morning hours of February 2.
