16 Bundles of U.S. Currency Hidden in Semi
Kleberg County Attorney’s Specialized Crimes and Narcotics Task Force
KINGSVILLE, TEXAS - (News Release) On June 6, 2024, Kleberg County Task Force Agents conducted a traffic stop on a semi tracker trailer on Highway 77 in Kingsville, Texas.
While speaking to the driver, agents believed the driver might be involved in criminal activity and began a search of the trailer where they located sixteen hidden bundles of US currency worth $456,935..
The currency was discovered to be the proceeds of narcotics trafficking.
