Fox News, MSN and The Gateway Pundit has identified the suspect in the Capitol attack as Noah Green, a 25-year-old from Indiana who has ties to the Nation of Islam.

On a March 17 post on Facebook, Green complained of being unemployed during the pandemic and said his religious beliefs were keeping him going.

A Facebook and Instagram profile matching the description of Noah Green has been taken down.

Authorities identified William "Billy" Evans as the Capitol Police officer who was fatally struck by a vehicle that drove into a barricade outside the Capitol building Friday afternoon.

Another Capitol Police officer who was injured in the incident has not yet been publicly identified.

Officer Evans had been a member of the United States Capitol Police for 18 years.  He began his USCP service on March 7, 2003, and was a member of the Capitol Division’s First Responder’s Unit. Please keep Officer Evans and his family in your thoughts and prayers.” Acting U.S. Capitol Police Chief Yogananda Pittman.

WASHINGTON D.C. (News Release) - U.S. Capital Police (USCP) are responding to the North Barricade vehicle access point along Independence Avenue for reports someone rammed a vehicle into two USCP officers.

A suspect is in custody. Both officers are injured. All three have been transported to the hospital.

This is a breaking story and we’ll update as soon as more information becomes available.
