Two Vehicle Head On Collision

NUECES COUNTY, TEXAS - (News Release) On September 16,2024 at approximately 8:37 pm Nueces County Constable Pct3 Deputies, ESD 3 fire department, ESD 6 (Allegiance EMS), Annaville Fire/EMS, Nueces County Sheriff Office Deputies, and Halo Flight were dispatched to a two vehicle head on collision with occupants trapped inside, located at FM 70 near CR 67.

The black passenger vehicle was traveling west on FM 70. The white passenger vehicle that was traveling east on FM 70. Both vehicles collied head on. The cause of the accident is under investigation by Texas Department of Public Safety Troopers.

The male driver from the white vehicle had to be extricated from the driver seat, he was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.

The female driver from the black vehicle was transported to a local hospital with injuries and was alert and talking.

FM 70, both east and west bound lanes were closed due to the active investigation.
