Two Single Car accidents in Bishop

BISHOP (News Release) - On Thursday April 27, 2023, at approximately 10:15 am, Nueces County Constable Precinct 3 Deputies responded to 2 single vehicle car accidents within 15 minutes of each other.
The first single vehicle accident was in the area of County Road 70 and County Road 71. The vehicle was heading East when it hydroplaned, and the driver lost control.
The vehicle slid across the road damaging a light pole causing it to fall onto the road. The vehicle came to rest in a nearby ditch. Deputies assisted with removing the light pole from the roadway.
The second accident was at 10:30 am on US Highway 77 and County Road 12. A gray compact car was south bound when he hydroplaned and spun out crossing the median facing northbound.
No injuries reported in both accidents. DPS is investigating the accident.
