Two Deputies Receive Awards

 

Nueces County Sheriff

NUECES COUNTY, TEXAS - (News Release) On July 27, 2024, two Nueces County Sheriff Patrol Deputies were awarded for their unwavering commitment, dedication, and exceptional contributions to the NCSO Patrol Division in 2023.

Corporal Randall High was awarded 2023 Patrol Division Deputy of the Year. Corporal High had a strong drive and proactive approach to his patrol duties in 2023. His willingness to step up and work countless hours toward many special events and operations to include honor guard, traffic initiatives, and game room operations made him one of the most dependable deputies within the NCSO Patrol Division.

Sergeant Rudy Gonzales was awarded 2023 Patrol Division Supervisor of the Year. Sergeant Gonzales was a vital asset to the Nueces County Sheriff’s Patrol Division. With the assistance of NCSO Field Operations Divisions, he led the game room initiative by working up, submitting for, and executing several search warrants on game rooms operating without a permit within Nueces County.
