Two Traffic Stops Lead to Over $194,800 U.S. Dollars Seized

KLEBERG - (News Release) On June 16th, Agents were hard at work on the highway in Kleberg County. One traffic stop was conducted mid morning while the other mid afternoon. In both traffic stops, the drivers indicated they were traveling to the border. While speaking with the drivers, they granted consent to search. While searching the vehicles Agents were able to locate United States Currency concealed in the vehicles. One vehicle had $44,800, while the second is over $150,000 with an official count occurring tomorrow. Investigations will continue on both cases.
