Traffic Stop Leads to an Arrest in Premont

PREMONT, TEXAS - (News Release) Premont PD officers conducted a traffic stop after observing a vehicle speeding on Broadway, here in town. As you know, we spend a considerable amount of time patrolling the neighborhoods looking for reckless driving and speeding issues.
The driver was identified and wanted on a warrant out of Brooks County Sheriff’s Office for Violation of Bond Protective Order - with No Bond.
She was placed under arrest and transported to the Jim Wells County Sheriff’s Office without further incident.
