Traffic Accident in Bishop

BISHOP (News Release) - On Saturday, November 25, 2023, at approximately 12:47am, Nueces County Constable Pct 3 Deputies, Bishop Police Officers, ESD 3 personnel, Texas Department of Public Safety Troopers and Allegiance ESD 6 EMS were dispatched to a two-vehicle accident on Business Highway 77 near County Road 4.
A passenger vehicle traveling south on Business Highway 77 rear ended a sports utility vehicle, resulting in both vehicles stopping in drainage ditches.
Emergency crews transported two passengers with minor injuries to a local hospital.
DPS troopers are investigating the accident.
