BISHOP, TEXAS - (News Release) - Case# B-250104, Offense: Terroristic Threat / Terroristic Threat Against Family Member, Location: 300 Block of E. 3rd Street, Bishop, Texas.

On Sunday, May 4, 2025, at approximately 11:12 a.m., Bishop Police Department patrol officers were dispatched to a residence located in the 300 block of East 3rd Street in reference to a reported disturbance involving verbal threats and the presence of a weapon.

Upon arrival, officers made contact with multiple individuals at the scene who reported being verbally threatened by a male subject. Witnesses stated that the subject made threats of serious bodily harm while in possession of a large bladed object described as a machete.

Following a preliminary investigation and based on statements obtained on scene, officers identified the suspect and took him into custody without incident. He was transported to the Nueces County Jail and booked on the following charges:

Terroristic Threat – Class B Misdemeanor

Terroristic Threat Against a Family Member – Class A Misdemeanor

This case remains under review by the Nueces County District Attorney’s Office.

All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
