Temporary Closure of Cole Park Skatepark

CORPUS CHRISTI (New Release) – The Corpus Christi Parks & Recreation Department will temporarily close the skatepark at Cole Park, located at 1900 Ocean Drive, for lighting installation. The project is set to begin Monday, February 6, with anticipated completion on Wednesday, February 8, pending no weather delays or unforeseen circumstances.

The lighting installation around the skatepark is the last phase of project upgrades to the recently renovated ledge, deck and bowl.

Skaters are encouraged to visit the City’s other skatepark, Wranosky Park, located at 422 Graham Road in Flour Bluff. The park is open daily from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
