Supply a Teacher Program

Nueces Electric Cooperative

CORPUS CHRSITI (News Release) – The Supply a teacher program aims to ease the financial burden on NEC Co-op Energy member teachers to supply their classrooms by awarding grants from $500 to $2,500.

“It’s within our Cooperative principles to support communities and education and that’s exactly what this program is all about. Educators face many financial challenges, and the Supply a Teacher program works to relieve some of their worries. We’re honored to have developed this program and having the opportunity to help supply classrooms of our members.” says NEC Chief Executive Officer, Varzavand “Avan” Irani.

Any teacher who is an NEC Co-op Energy member can submit an application online that explains how this grant will aid their classroom and contribute to student success. In addition to receiving a grant, awarded teachers will also be recognized on our social media page (www.facebook.com/neccoopenergy), on our official website (www.neccoopenergy.com), in our Texas Co-op Power magazine, and in person at our NEC headquarters this fall.

Apply by the Friday, September 29th deadline at: www.neccoopenergy.com/energizingourfuture
