Stolen Vehicle Located, Suspect Arrested

CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS (News Release) - On February 25, 2025, at about 9:10 am officers were dispatched to the 13000 block of SPID in reference to a stolen vehicle. When officers arrived, they contacted the victim who stated an unknown male had approached him, displayed a rifle and took his truck. The suspect was last seen traveling towards Flour Bluff. The victim was not injured.

During the investigation officers were able to locate the vehicle and follow it to a business off SPID. They were able to detain the suspect who took the vehicle earlier. The suspect was positively identified and was arrested for aggravated robbery.

Offender Michael Ryder (42YOA) was transported to the city detention center for booking. The vehicle was released to the owner.
