Stolen E-Bikes Found

CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS (News Release) - On September 5, 2025, at approximately 9:45 am, Corpus Christi Police Bike Officers arrived at a residence in the 1600 block of Marguerite St. for an investigation, in reference to a business burglary that occurred earlier in the week On Shoreline Blvd.

Bike Officers received information that stolen E-Bikes were at the residence.

When bike officers arrived, they contacted several subjects in and around the residence. Bike officers observed an E-Bike in the living room of the residence.

Property Crime Detectives were called out to assist and a search warrant was obtained for the residence.

Officers were able to locate one of the stolen E-Bikes from the recent burglary. This property was confirmed through matching serials numbers and business logos.

Several individuals were interviewed at main station in reference to the stolen merchandise.

Jorge Garica (51) was ultimately arrested for Theft &750<$2500 (A).

51 year-old Rene Sanchez.

Another individual who was also contacted, Rene Sanchez (51), was arrested for an outstanding Parole warrant. He was additionally charged with possession of a controlled substance PG1 and resisting arrest.

Both males were transported to the City Detention Center for booking.

This is still an ongoing investigation.
