Staples Street Receives Maintenance from Carmel Parkway to Autotown Drive

CORPUS CHRISTI – (News Release) On Wednesday, August 3, the Staples Street renovation project, from Carmel Parkway to Autotown Drive, will resume construction after experiencing a six-day delay. The City will apply new asphalt to five lanes of the roadway. Construction will take place Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Two-way traffic will be maintained through construction; however, City contractors will conduct daily single-lane closures throughout the duration of the project. Motorists are advised to use alternate routes to avoid delays. Construction for this project is expected to last two weeks.
