Stabbing-1700 18th St.

CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS (News Release) - On July 16, 2026 at approximately 9:45 pm Officers with the Corpus Christi Police Department were dispatched to a Stabbing in the 1700 block of 18th St.
When Officers arrived they located a 56 year old male with a stab wound and immediately began administering first aid until Medics arrived. Officers also detained a person on scene.
Medics transported the male to a local hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Due to the nature of the call, Detectives with CCPD’s Robbery/Homicide Division were called to the scene. Detectives will conduct a formal interview at Main Station.
No arrests have been made at this time.
The parties are known to each other. This is an isolated incident and an active and ongoing investigation.
