CHRISTUS Spohn in Beeville Named COVID-19 Vaccination Hub

BEEVILLE - CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital Beeville has been named a COVID-19 Vaccination Hub by the State of Texas to serve the Bee County community and surrounding areas. Beginning Wednesday, January 20, 2021, hospital leadership, with support from Bee County officials, began administering vaccines on hospital grounds, via a drive-through process.
The facility has received more than 1,900 Pfizer vaccines to distribute to those who meet the criteria for Phase 1A or Phase 1B. So far, more than 1,300 of those doses have been administered. Appointments for the remaining vaccine doses are full and are scheduled for Thursday.
At this time, CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital Beeville expects to receive another shipment of vaccines. We are awaiting word from the State of Texas on the timing and quantity of that allocation.
CHRISTUS Health is currently working to create a process that will allow people to search for and schedule appointments online.
To ensure the distribution process does not overwhelm the hospital, CHRISTUS Spohn is urging the community to refrain from entering the Hospital drive-through clinic without having reserved an appointment prior to arrival.
