SGA Lions Basketball Player Diego Martinez Earns 1000 Career Points
KINGSVILLE, TEXAS - Senior Diego Martinez from the Santa Gertrudis Academy basketball team reached a milestone of 1000 career points as he led the Lions with 22-points on Friday night. The Lions took the victory over the Falfurrias Jerseys with a score of 63-53.

Before the game on Friday, Martinez was honored and presented with a commemorative banner in celebration of his 1,000th point scored as an Academy Lion.
The Lions currently hold a 18-12 overall record this season and are currently 6-3 in district play.
