Santa Gertrudis JV Tennis Team Places 2nd at Orange Grove Meet

ORANGE GROVE, TEXAS (News Release) - The Santa Gertrudis High School Junior Varsity tennis team delivered a strong performance at the Orange Grove Invitational on Friday, April 11, 2025, earning a second-place overall finish.
Individual and team results include:
Zach Garza and Isaac Gomez – 3rd place, Boys Doubles
Santiago Arias and Gabriel Cardona – 4th place, Boys Doubles
Sheryl Yu and Jenova Navanto – 3rd place, Girls Doubles
Kevin Sanchez – 4th place, Boys Singles
Mia Carrales – 4th place, Girls Singles
The JV team is set to compete again this Thursday at the Bishop Tournament as they continue to prepare for the upcoming district competition.
