City of Corpus Christi

CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS – The City of Corpus Christi will install weigh-in-motion sensors on Ocean Drive between Baycliff Drive and Born Street on March 26 and March 27. This project will support the City’s “Ocean Drive Sustainability Program,” a 10-year initiative focused on preserving this critical corridor.

The installation will begin on the northbound lane of Ocean Drive from Baycliff Drive to Born Drive on March 26 and along the southbound lane of Ocean Drive from Born Street to Baycliff Drive on March 27. Both days will require intermittent single-lane closures from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Safety remains a top priority, and motorists are advised to use alternative routes to avoid delays, remain aware of the work zone, and follow posted signs.
