Riviera Kaufer Placed 1st at District Tennis Meet

RIVIERA, TEXAS - Recently, the Seahawk boys’ and girls’ tennis was awarded District Champions at the Class 2A Region 4 District 32 meet.

For the varsity girls singles division, Elizabeth Lugo was the district champ, and Isa Hubert took 2nd place.

The varsity mixed doubles division, Roan Bell and Kate Rendon are the district champs, and Owen Bryant and Haley Shugart took 2nd place.

Varsity boys singles division, Daniel Jimenez took the title of District Champ.

Each 1st and 2nd place varsity winners will be heading to the regional rounds.

Vincent Suarez placed 4th in the boy’s singles division, and Joshua Russek and Tovirio Rodriguez placed 4th place in boy’s doubles division.

For JV girl singles division, Karla Lugo placed 1st.
