Precinct 5 Deputies Arrest Man on Felony Warrant, Recover Firearm

ROBSTOWN, TEXAS (News Release) - On Monday, December 1, 2025, shortly after midnight, Precinct 5 deputies located 31-year-old Robert Stewart at his residence near Cindy Lane and FM 1833. Stewart was wanted on an outstanding felony warrant for Evading Arrest/Detention with a Vehicle, with a bond set at $20,000. He was taken into custody without incident.

During the arrest, deputies discovered Stewart was in possession of a 9mm handgun. He is prohibited from possessing firearms due to prior felony convictions. As a result, Stewart was additionally charged with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon. He is currently being held at the Nueces County Jail.
