Police Find Narcotics and Weapons After a Three-Week Investigation

JIM WELLS COUNTY (News Release) - On Thursday, February 3, Deputies and Investigators with Constable Oscar Mendoza’s Precinct Five Office along with Jim Wells County Sherriff and Corpus Christi Police SWAT culminated a three-week investigation by executing a search warrant in Jim Wells County and a second search warrant in the Calallen area.

During the execution of these warrants, several items and firearms were collected as possible evidence along with some narcotics. Police are anticipating obtaining some arrest warrants in the next few days for individuals believed to have been responsible for a major burglary of a habitation in the Calallen area.

Precinct Five will continue to investigate and work with neighboring agencies in order to bring these individuals to Justice.
