CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS - (News Release) On September 6, 2024, at 3:20am, CCPD officers were dispatched to the 1100 block of Green Earth Dr in reference to a shooting. A roommate called in stating they heard shots then discovered someone was shot.

Officers arrived on scene and located a deceased 25-year-old female inside of the home, with an apparent gunshot wound.

 Robbery Homicide Detectives were called out to investigate.

The roommates were taken to the main police station for interviewing.

Detectives are following up on leads and this is still an active investigation. We do know this is not a random act of violence.
