ALICE, TEXAS - (News Release) This report details a successful traffic stop conducted by Alice Police Officer O.J. Jasso and his partner J.D. Elizondo, as part of Operation Stonegarden on U.S. Hwy 281.

Melissa Guerra Reyes, the driver of a Grand Cherokee, during the interview, providing conflicting stories. With the help of Robstown Police K-9 Officer Nick Buys, a hidden compartment beneath the vehicle’s floorboard was found, containing 14 bundles of cocaine weighing approximately 16 kilos. Melissa Guerra Reyes was arrested and booked into the Jim Wells County Jail.
