A “fixed” COVID-19 testing facility will open its doors in Kingsville beginning tomorrow, officials announced in a statement on Monday evening.

Kleberg County Judge Rudy Madrid said he is “super excited” to announce the opening of the new COVID-19 testing facility, which will begin operation on Dec. 29.

“This will be another ‘FREE’ service offered to both our community and the surrounding areas to ensure the safety of our citizens,” Madrid said.

The hours of operation for the facility are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, and will also be open Saturday from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.

Madrid said those interested in testing may register online at gogettested.com, or “can just show up and (facility workers) will register you on site.”

”Together, we will get ahead of this pandemic,” Madrid said.

The facility is located at the Kingsville Health Department at 3421 N. FM 1355 in Kingsville.
