OFFICER INVOLVED SHOOTING - ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

CORPUS CHRISTI (News Release) - A follow-up to the July 4 incident involving an officer, the following information has been made available for release.
All three offenders have been processed by the Corpus Christi City Detention Center.
17-year-old Jesus Ramos, the driver of the vehicle, was the individual shot. Ramos was medically cleared and was transported to the City Detention Center on July 5, 2022. Ramos has been charged with Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle, Unlawful Possession of Firearm, Manufacture and Delivery of Controlled Substance (PG1), Evading Arrest with a Vehicle and Evading Arrest.
17-year-old Nathaniel Martinez was transported to the City Detention Center on July 4, 2022. Martinez has been charged with Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle, Unlawful Possession of Firearm, Evading Arrest with a Vehicle and Evading Arrest.
17-year-old Dominic Favela was transported to the City Detention Center on July 4, 2022. Favela has been charged with Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle, Unlawful Possession of Firearm, Evading Arrest with a Vehicle and Evading Arrest.
Ramos, Martinez and Favela are expected to face additional charges in relation to the Aggravated Robbery (carjacking).
This is still an active investigation and updates will follow as they are made available for release.
