Nueces County Courthouse Closed

Nueces County - Due to icy road conditions, road and bridge closures, and severe cold and inclement weather that is expected through Wednesday, Nueces County will close most county offices including the Nueces County Courthouse on Tuesday, February 16, 2021.
Many county services are now available online, but may be impacted due to electrical outages at the homes of county employees who are unable to work remotely.
The Emergency Operations Center has been activated and many departments including Public Works, Sheriff’s Department, County Constables, and Social Services remain in operation to address issues as needed throughout the freezing conditions.
Forecasted weather, road, and electrical power conditions will determine the County Courthouse operating status for Wednesday.
