Students, Community Honor Nick M. Harrel Family During Special Flag Ceremony

KINGSVILLE, TEXAS - On May 18, 2026, Harrel Elementary held a special flag ceremony honoring Nick M. Harrel and his family.

During the ceremony, a set of commemorative flags was presented to Mr. Nick M. Harrel III in recognition of the family’s longstanding contributions and support.

Special guests attending the event included Dr. Luz Martinez, Superintendent of Kingsville ISD; Dr. Joseph Welch, Assistant Superintendent; Albert Martinez, Northern District Director for Congressman Vicente Gonzalez; Commissioner Chuck Schultz; and several former teachers.

The ceremony also featured participation from the H.M. King Brahma Band and the H.M. King JrROTC Honor Guard, who helped celebrate the occasion and honor the Harrel family.
