NEC Offers Sixteen Scholarship Awards

ROBSTOWN, TEXAS (News Release) – Nueces Electric Cooperative (NEC) is extending scholarship opportunities to high school seniors who are dependents of Nueces Electric Cooperative members.
Below, you'll find details regarding the various awards available.
4 Year Scholarships: (1) $4,000 Ramiro De La Paz Memorial Scholarship, (1) $4,000 John L. Sims Memorial Scholarship, (10) $1,000 scholarships. *Must attend a 4-year college or accredited university in Texas.
2 Year Scholarships: (2) $2,000 scholarships. *Must attend a 2-year or vocational accredited college in Texas.
Lineworker Scholarships: (2) $5,000 scholarships distributed upon completion of a qualifying lineman’s college. *Open year-round.

Nueces Electric scholarships are open to all high school seniors whose parent(s) or legal guardian(s) are NEC members. Applicants must apply online at nueceselectric.org/necscholarships by Saturday, February 10th, 2024, by 5pm.
