CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS (News Release) – Naval Air Station Corpus Christi Fire and Emergency Services recently welcomed Adrian De Los Santos for a special experience as part of the Pilot for a Day program.

Adrian, joined by his family, got an up-close look at what it takes to be a firefighter. During the visit, he toured the fire station, explored the fire trucks, and even had the chance to hold a fire nozzle.

The Pilot for a Day program is designed to support children in the local community who are battling catastrophic illnesses. Unlike similar initiatives, it is not limited to children with terminal conditions but aims to uplift and inspire those facing serious health challenges.

For many participants, the program serves as a meaningful part of their recovery journey, offering them a day of joy, adventure, and encouragement.
