NAS Kingsville Donates Toys to Salvation Army

KINGSVILLE (News Release) - At Naval Air Station Kingsville, RP2 O’Nisha Simmons prepares to take the first batch of ‘Angel Tree’ gifts to the Salvation Army in Corpus Christi.

“Dozens of Kleberg County area children will now be so incredibly happy to receive their entire gift-wish-list this holiday season due to the kind generosity of members of our NAS Kingsville community.” said Lt. Cmdr. David Carlson, NASK Chaplain.

With Christmas just a few days away, The Salvation Army's Angel Tree Program in Kleberg County has adopted over 600 children in need. The program aims to provide children with new clothes and a toy. However, over at least 50 children have not been adopted yet.
