Mr. Cortina's Class Hosted Special Guests

 

Nueces County Sheriff

ROBSTOWN, TEXAS - (News Release) On August 29th Mr. Cortina's class had the honor of hosting special guests from the Nueces County Sheriff's Office, including Sargent Joey Gonzales, Assistant Director of Training. This visit marks the beginning of an exciting partnership that will bring numerous opportunities to the high school and junior high students interested in Public Service careers.

Throughout the school year, the Sheriff's Office will be returning to teach lessons aligned with the Law Enforcement curriculum. Students even got the chance to sit in a real police unit and learn about professionalism in the field.
