BISHOP - (News Release) On April 17th, Bishop Police Department and Nueces County Constable Precinct 3 Patrol Units responded to reports of motor vehicle accident (MVA) involving two vehicles, at the intersection of E. 4th St. and N. Cedar St. in Bishop, Tx.

Nueces County ESD-6 EMS was requested to the scene to evaluate one of the vehicle occupants. That subject was later transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Bishop P.D. Officers investigated the motor vehicle accident and a crash report was generated. The driver determined to be at fault was issued a citation and released.

The roadway was temporarily closed down while officers on scene conducted their crash investigation.

The scene is now clear and there are no current road closures.
