McArdle Road Project Transitions to Phase 2

City of Corpus Christi

CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS — (News Release) Phase 1 of the McArdle Road project has been completed. Starting Friday, July 12, the project will transition into Phase 2, which will require significant changes to traffic control.

As part of Phase 2, the contractor will switch traffic control on McArdle Road from Carroll Lane to Kostoryz Road to the eastbound lane to facilitate ongoing roadwork. The westbound lane, featuring newly completed concrete pavement, will be opened to allow for one-way traffic heading westbound.

Safety remains a top priority, and motorists are advised to use alternative routes to avoid delays, remain aware of the work zone, and follow posted signs.
