Former Mathis Police Chief Marshal Scott Roush Charged with Tampering of Evidence

SINTON, TEXAS (News Release) - San Patricio County Jail is housing former Mathis Police Chief Marshal Scott Roush.

The Texas Rangers have been working an ongoing investigation regarding missing evidence from the evidence locker at their facility.

Yesterday, morning, Roush turned himself in at San Patricio County Jail where Ranger Cody Lankford served 9 felony warrants on him.

Roush was booked on 9 charges of tampering with evidence.

His bond was set at $225,000.
