Man Arrested for Threating Customers at Premont Restaurant

PREMONT, TEXAS (News Release) - On September 28, 2024, officers responded to the Rowdy D’s restaurant located off of South Broadway, Premont, Texas regarding an individual that was displaying a weapon and had pointed it at another person.

The suspect had left the location, and responding Premont Police Department (PPD) officers conducted an investigation on scene. The suspect was positively identified, and an arrest warrant was issued for Teodoro R. Garza.

On October 15, 2024, PPD Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle matching the description belonging to the Teodoro R. Garza, the suspect who displayed a weapon at Rowdy D’s restaurant, had an outstanding warrant for Deadly Conduct.

Teodoro R. Garza was arrested without incident and taken to Jim Wells County Sheriff’s Office Detention Center.
