Man Arrested in Premont

PREMONT, TEXAS - (News Release) On July 24, 2024, Premont Patrol Officers conducted a traffic stop for a Vehicle Equipment Violation inside the city of Premont.

Upon running a check of the driver, it was discovered that Celestino Basaldua had an active warrant out of Kimble County Sheriff’s Office for Tampering/ Fabricating Physical Evidence w/ Intent to Impair, a 3rd Felony.

Basaldua was arrested and transported to the Jim Wells County Jail without further incident.
