Major Crash Investigation in Aransas Pass

ARANSAS PASS (News Release) - Just after 11 am on Tuesday, March 15, first responders were called to the 1300 block of South Commercial Street in reference to a single-vehicle crash with injuries.
Upon arrival, officers found a male subject had been ejected from a vehicle after striking 2 electrical poles.
49-year-old Julio Medina Ramirez of Aransas Pass, the driver and only occupant, sustained serious injuries in the crash.
Based on preliminary findings, it is believed that speed may have been a factor in this crash.
